It's detection rate is good but it's not always even top 5 in detection. Norton seems to always go back and forth from superior to inferior when it comes to AntiVirus solutions which makes me want to stand clear knowing I could waste my money at any times and end up with a bad version of Norton.The downsides to Norton are the fact you never know if the next version will be a superior or inferior antivirus solution. This can be both a positive and a negative. The newer versions of Norton are very easy to use and have a lot better detection as well as removal rates as some of the older version.

Pros: youre free trial.remember its a free trial and after the month you gotta pay so i guess the trial periods ok but nothing special.nothing that avg,or avast or even microsofts virus protection (that has free remote help) dosent haveĬons: trial version then you pay.thats all i need to say.with avasts trail s truly awesome.after the 30 days then you go back to the free version that has all the virus protection you need.always nice to hear the avast women say 'Avast is up to date and working perfectly' eachtime it updates :)

paid £38 each year.the first year i was a bit gullible so anything norton did to my p.c i was all googley eyed thinking This is fab.i was just learning about p.c security software so when i had probs and contacted norton online and i got a prompt reply Sit back and let us do the work the remote access was great.watching all my folders opening and shutting and i havent touched a thing was great to watch.they were very helpfull.but like i said i was pretty new to virus protection so when i renewed my subsciption i was pretty happy until i had a major problem that i couldnt sort without professional help.clicked the Remote access button but to my disgust i hadnt paidfor the extra addon of remote help.but i had the same thing the year before.they had stopped it.you had to phone a premium rate call center for help.so i finished with norton.the free Trial is pretty garbage compared to avast. You usedyour computer knnowledge and prey on 'computer idiots' such as myself.IMMORAL AND UNETHICAL. i will dedicate my time to warned and dissuade future internet users from trusting your product or techs.i will keep on contacting the media until someone listens Now money goes thru you are not responding to my call. your tech charged money which was dishonest. Pros: at first i like you until i discovered your dishonesty.Ĭons: You need more honesty and intergrity. They will take your money, hack into your computer and delete evidence of transaction. Users do not trust norton/symantec support. I have contacted the news and warned as many users as i possibly. I will dedicate my time to reveal your scam to the world. It is unethical immoral and just plain dishonest.
Norton is dishonest.Prey on nontech savvy users. NORTON/SYMANTEC ARE DISHONEST AND A BIG SCAM.
